Yes, that is possible since they are so expensive that a player may not want to build too many. Plus all of the ones in maintenance clog the works as far as the number available for use in the squadron.

Maybe the Kaga is actually a submersible aircraft carrier.

• The infantry at Ponape needs rest to recover fatigue and disruption. The casualty ratio was good there, so subsequent assaults should yield progressively better results. There are two ships scouted as CM leaving Truk, and they made 2 hexes. That must be the ARD and an escort. Our CVE will remain at Ponape while the fleet carriers and cruiser escorts move 8 hexes NW of current position (1 hex east of Ponape) to intercept.

Yes, but all of those attacks were at night, and the game makes naval strikes at night quite difficult.

• Tomorrow the fleet should be gather at Ponape for a little excursion to Truk. No aircraft at Truk now. We lost 2x 4EB to flak there so we are increasing altitude from 8,000 ft to 10,000 ft. We are going to hit again with the battleships, from 20,000 yards to reduce return hits. Several ASW TF will patrol into the Truk hex to disrupt the defending subs when the battleships strike.
