I've only just installed, but it appears that TOAW IV is only available in a windowed mode.

This is a problem because it's awkward to move the map up or down: sliding the cursor to the very top or bottom of the screen means leaving the window; to move the map you have to position the cursor in the sweet spot a few pixels short of the screen edge.

Is there a way to make the game display full-screen rather than windowed?

I also would like to request that we get a FULL SCREEN option. I'd also like to have map edge scrolling automated. In the present form it is tedious to scroll up, right or left. But down scroll is the hardest to lock onto.

Please consider map edge automatic scrolling and or true FULL SCREEN.

Thank you.

I've been known to use the arrow keys to scroll.

You can also drag the main map. Hold the cursor down as you drag to where you want to move the map.

You can also click on the map to center on that hex (useful for touch screens)
There is a full screen mode, but it also requires you to enter the resolution you want to use so it's a little clunky right now.

Doesn't the game start in a maximized window? Yes, not true full-screen but still. You could run something like Borderless Window [1] to remove the window bar and just have the menu at top.
Another thing you could try is to set the resolution in the ini file to your native resolution. It would be full-screen but not sure if it actually captures the mouse to avoid leaving the game.

Like so:
ChangeScreenResolution=N Y=Alternate Screen Resolution
ScreenY=1080 Alternate Screen Resolution Parameter
ScreenX=1920 Alternate Screen Resolution Parameter

Thanks, wasn't aware of this, I believe I even tried but nothing happened. Will try.

Just bought the game, I see no options to change this, how is it done?

For me, windowed mode is big enough and has the advantage of accommodating Virtual Magnifying Glass to see the smaller numbers.

Thanks. Just to confirm that this tool works great and it puts TOAW in full screen. Scrolling with the mouse works flawlessly.
Only problem is.. that then perhaps you will miss the windowed mode

That's great. OTOH. TOAW IV runs fine windowed at 1260x1024 res on my fairly big 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) Acer monitor.
