Hi.
When one enemy tank fire me, the grapich of my destroy tank appear before of the sound and the animation of the fire.
This is very annoying, because is very tense this moment (e.g. one decisive fire against my best tank) and i can see the result of the fire before of the fire.

Can you resolve this?.

Thnks a lot

It's typical in TotH for the sound to lag behind the graphics but I just got used to it. I usually look at the Action Log window to view the artillery results rather than watching the map display. It works for everything else that requires a resolution and you can see the results before the graphic outcomes. It's a very minor issue for me probably because there's always a beer in my hand when I play and it takes the edge off.

I do not think that this is a difficult problem to solve for the designers of the game

Personally I don't think it's that big a deal.
Unless there is a lot of like minded requests, these guys spend a lot of time on the updates they provide as it is.
I would rather they spend their time developing more scenarios/campaigns.
Just my humble opinion.

Battle Academy often does something similar, too.

+1

But I would also like to add that there are other updates/innovations more important to TotH than a graphic/sound
time lag. For instance addition of new terrain and new nationalities. IMO its best to spend the programming time on
these kind of issues rather than a minor issue with time lag.

Minor issue with time lag, seriously? That time lag prevented the game from being played and made it much less enjoyable. Have you even tried to play a campaign scenario? I have a gaming PC bought last summer with all the bells and whistles and I was experiencing major lag times of minutes between movement hexes. I would select a hex to move to then I would walk away and watch tv until the commercial then make another move. I can't even imagine how everybody else was doing with a less current PC. Speeding up TotH is something to be commended and ethical. Supporters of TotH quickly purchased the Kursk update to find it was not really playable. Peter knowing the importance of fixing that for his supporters was the right thing to do. New scenarios and campaigns without the speed fix makes no sense. Peter chose wisely.
