Hi there,

Just a question here, regarding Matrix's PBEM ++ as I am quite discovering this.
How does one save and resume a turn without having to play it in one go. Everyone of my attempts ending with no turn sent and a standard .pbl issued.

So is this possible? How? With massive scenario, I just can't play a turn in one seat.
Thanks!

Just exit and it will auto save to the server. Doing anything else like loading a new turn should also.

Yeah, but Ralph, do you have to save your game in order to cause an exit?
That's what happens in the old fashioned procedure.

I've tried to save then reload using PBEM ++ in order to resume an already started turn.

No joy.
If there is a way, it eludes me.

Is your pbem++ opponent having the same problem?

I only tried alone, once the challenge has been launched.

Just close the game (File menu, "Close") it will save it to the server.

Saving should have been deactivated as an option for PBEM++ games to be honest, as it is confusing: it doesn't actually produce a save game you can then load. Just close the game in progress when you want to stop making your moves and resume later.

Indeed, that's most confusing.

Closing did the trick, thanks.
