Just finished my first run at the scenario on the Iranian side.
This will not be a detailed AAR but just a collection of thoughts, and yes there will be SPOILERS.
The outcome of the scenario was surprising to me I scored a Triumph Final Score: 9265.
I didn't expect to score so high on my first try but looking at the scoring log I understood:
Event Action: 'Iran 100 points' has been fired (part of Event: 'Saudi Minor Facility Destroyed')
Event Action: 'Iran 500 points' has been fired (part of Event: 'Abqaiq Hub Destroyed')
Event Action: 'Iran 100 points' has been fired (part of Event: 'Saudi Aircraft Lost')
Event Action: 'Iran 200 points' has been fired (part of Event: 'Saudi Refinery Destroyed')
Event Action: 'Iran -5 points' has been fired (part of Event: 'Iran Facility Destroyed')
Iran score big whatever he destroys while saudis have very limited scoring opportunity.

Saudis lost 63 aircraft for a total of 6300 VP (68% of the total VPs)
Iran lost 56 facilities for a total of -280 VP
So I will have won even without using my SSMs and the "Patriots non engaging the Shahabs" issue is not as important as I thought.
I think that to achieve a more challenging play the Saudis must score also for the Iranian A/C downed, maybe more for F-14s and Mig-29s and just 5 point for all the rest; also the iranian facilities would need a bigger value.
Tomcats are the only real treat for the Saudis I think that they should be worth the same points as the facilities.
The Saudis always striked at Kharg Island, which is reasonably defended while they ignored the Abadan oil fields which are undefended from the ground.
So, even if I enjoyed playing the iranian, I think thet the victory conditions are way too easy to achieve.
