I have not read this yet, but a couple of friends have, (yes, I do actually have friends), and they highly recommend it.

I don't read anything by any blondes. That's just a basic principle I'm sticking with.

In this case the "l" is silent.

Yes, I have both of them. All the books I have mentioned belonged to my mom's first husband. A West Point Graduate who died in Korea.

I am a Realtor and I see a number of homes. It is amazing the percentage that do not have a single book in them. We should surround a child with books.

The family that adopted me as Grandpa has a young lad of 8 who loves his electronic screen time but when I saw him browsing a WWII picture book (in a Facebook pic by his mom), I started bringing him a few of my picture books on history - WWII and overall development of mankind. His mom says he really likes them.
The family had lots of books growing up so I am hoping his love of books will sustain into adulthood.

Finally got a copy at a game show I went to day after Thanksgiving. It'll be a while before I get to it, behind on my reading. Never seem to make enough time for reading no matter what. Read more than many, the exception would be here as you all seem to read a lot.
