Hey everyone! I am playing my first run through, but some of my early mistakes are becoming evident. Mostly in my failure to aggressively deploy LCUs and planes to my far flung islands. I have been thinking about starting over to better prepare my forces, but I have been looking at the mods and I am really confused as to what is the most current version I should be using.

My game says that it is patched to 1.8.11.26B which was done on Sept. 16, 2017. Now I assumed that meant that all the scenarios were also up to date too. But I see that AndyMac has done revisions of the scenarios after the patch 7. Does my later patch take into account these changes or do I need to re-download all of AndyMac's updates?

As a rookie player I recommend that the modding thread be cleaned up. There are multiple authors, the scenarios are not arranged by latest revision and there are newer updates under old threads. I find it really confusing to navigate. For example (and not to pick on AndyMac) he has a thread that says Unofficial data scen updates, then another one doing AI testing and another one saying updated scenario 1. Which one do I use? Does my 1.8.11.26 patch take in account these changes since this was a few years ago? Did AndyMac finish testing the AI? Do I use the AI testing and not the patch 7 updates? Please help! Thank you.

I suggest you look at this thread. It may seem complicated, but at least you'll know what's new (I've got dates next to all of them) and it *should* be a complete listing of all AndyMacs updates.

That is my question. I believe my patch is post patch 7. Does my patch already incorporate these changes? Or do i need to download all of andymacs changes in order still?

The game version number that you have is fine. The game patches do not include Andy Macs AI updates. so you would need to download Andy Mac's updates in order to have them....GP

Quick question. I am trying to download and rename the scenario file then save them in the SCEN folder. How do I know if the game is correctly recognizing the new scenarios and not the old ones?

Open the scenario you want to save in the editor. Then save it in any slot >25. When you open the game the scenario you just saved should be in the slot you selected....GP

If you are overwriting the default 2010 ones, just compare the dates with those in my scenario tables. If they match, you have the new scenario ready to go.

I don't think you are supposed to be renaming the files.

The new files need to overwrite the old.

This is how you know the game is looking at the correct file.
