PM – July14, 1943 (T11) Round 2

Start of round 2.

8th Army is facing stiff resistance.

Not all attacks are successful (#1)

Here is an example of an attack which on paper initially looked good (#2)
with an AR of 258 ….success probability of Excellent…..

Results (#3) – 9% losses vs. 6% losses for Axis.
Looks like I led with with my 50mm Mortars…..(#4)

But it really failed because the counter fire from Axis artillery (#5) was deadly
Against my supporting units.

AM – July14, 1943 (T12)

Start of Turn 12.

During Axis turn, they flew numerous air missions. However, the results of several of those air missions did not end well as exhibited by the three loss reports. These missions were all on harbor spots against Naval units which had a strong Air CAP. #2 was also an attack on Patton’s HQ which also had a strong AA presence.

I am enjoying your publication immensely. With your permission I'd
like to try out some of your style in my AAR(s) and see if you and
I can't raise the production values for this section of the forum.
I'm curious as to what brand of graphical software you're using
because the most I've graduated to is Paint.Net and that only
for the PNG files. I'm still using mostly MSPaint.
