Has anybody ever received an error, trying to login via multiplayer?

I got a Download Error 99. Tried it a couple times.

Does the game record attempts to download, when I did not get the file?

I opened the game yesterday, started my turn, then saved it, and came back and did more of it later. Today I get this!

I tried it a few more times, and the same problem.

I then rebooted my computer and it worked the next time.

Don't know, is it the host? or was it my computer?

Well, I keep getting the error 99, on the Multiplayer site.

Who exactly hosts the games for that aspect of playing WITE? Is it Slitherine?

Like the Primate I am, I repeated the reboot of my computer and tried logging on again to Multiplayer and downloading my game, since it work the last time, but this time it did not.

Feel like a frustrated hominid, and thus want to blame the Government!

Has this ever happened before, or could this have something to do with the latest Beta Patch? (Inquiring Government Agents want to know!)

PS Please don't tell me the games are hosted in Russia!

They could be having Server issues again. Every now and then they have to take the Server to the top of Big Ben in England and drop from the highest ledge. (Otherwise known as a restart ;-)

The indicative code errors you are receiving shows this is more than likely the case. (or you don't have your internet connection working)

My present opponent says he is also getting the error; it is delaying our game.

The Great Leader of the Worker's Party suggested I filter out any counter revolutionary tendencies, among those responsible for the error, and begin setting up additional sleeping accommodations for them in Uzbekistan!
