They look gorgeous! The only issue I spotted, is that the last "X" of infantry army symbol, is covered by the soldier. Also, the first mechanized tech level, look like a supply truck, not a combat unit. So I would suggest maybe a riffle image above the truck or a NATO infantry symbol.

Here is latest progress

on right side of image you can see "high res" sample version for ground/air/naval
I did add small Natos to mobile units (tanks Recon and Mech)
Remove Nato for Special force (add a Ranger patch instead of)
I like to keep the GMC truck for MECH tech 0 as a kind of early war motorized unit

still to be done:
Field Arty
Heavy Arty
Few navy's
AA's

I couldnt find any USA armored train decent color image, so if anybody got one or knows a Web link, just let me know.

Also still thinking about USA partisan picture (actually a USA Flag with a black silhouette)

Thanks for your comments

The American unit counters are spectacular looking. I only wish they used the 48-star flag that was in use in WW I, WW II, and the Korean War, rather than the modern 50 star flag.

(You can tell which flag is which without having to actually count the stars: the stars on the 21rst century flag are arranged in a checkerboard, and the stars on the earlier flag were set up in orderly rows and columns.)

Formidable

I would not make it too complicated. I think for the armored train you could use identical bitmaps for all countries...

Wow!!!
Those are, for lack of a better word: Perfect!

I really like the mini-NATOs on the mobile units!
Have you tried mini-NATOs on arty units? I mean instead of e.g. AT & AA for bit more uniform counter layout.

@ Hubert & Bill: We now need another zoom lever for those amazing his-res counters!

I agree - that's a huge plus from my perspective. Nicely done.

Thanks to all for your comments.
USA file template is almost complete (few Arty to do + some aircraft upgrade to manage), I think its close to the final version that I will deploy to all others nations.

Please note the special kamikaze unit on bottom right.

Hi Bill,
I can imagine the amount of work required to add some additional zoom level(s).
All graphic files to be done + program coding
But whatever the counters looks like I think it would be usefull.
Is this something to happen on future releases?

Hi Christophe, sorry for taking a little while to respond. At the moment this would be an awful lot of work to do. Maybe in the future but we'll have to see as while it would be great, we also need to balance it against all our other priorities.

Bill

They look sweet. Wouldn't you consider using an image of Panzer IV with skirts of Panther for the last tank tech level? I think it would stand out nicely.

I use Pzkw V for the 2 last tech slots.
But I can add Pzkw IV with skirt on tech 3 as per below image.
