I had posted in Hans Bolters thread about Halsey my experience with his aggressive reaction ratings. As you can see from this post of Combat Events on 1-21-42, it clearly shows him being killed.

Imagine my surprise a couple of turns later when I was reviewing commander options and saw that one of my options was none other than Admiral Halsey..

Was it Fog of War in the Combat Events report ? Has anyone else experienced this ?

I've never heard of fog or war for one's own losses, only the other side.

Yes, I have it with Arliegh Burke. I just don't select him, but I did name a CD for him.

Sometimes database in game gets bit corrupted. Then you sometimes get 2 of same commander. Not counting MacArthur, who is special case and not bug or such.
