I was just reminiscing about how awesome the strike planner was in DID�s old Tornado and how there really hasn�t been anything comparable since... I saw some old threads about this being in the works for CMANO, any progress on that?

Here the latest update on the strike planner, from the Steam board:

"Thanks for the interest but this is not a feature that was ever promised for Command. This is something that if it happens would be in a future games as its years of development time." Slitherine_Iain

If you've seen the other linked topic you would know full scale planner would take 5 or so years of development. That's why it's split in v1.0/2/3/etc and it's worked on.

I have in fact read that. The message on the Steam forum, however, certainly gives the impression that NO version of this will be forthcoming for CMANO. Which is fine, you'll notice I'm not complaining. Just pointing this out to people who may not read the Steam boards.
