While you first start writing essays in school or college, it's not unusual to have a topic assigned to you. However, as you steps forward in grade level, you'll more and more be given the occasion to choose the topic of your essays. When choosing a topic for your essay, you'll want to make sure your topic supports the type of paper you're estimated to write. If you're anticipated to create a paper that is a general outline, then a general topic will be enough. However, if you're projected to write a specific analysis, then you're topic should be reasonably specific.

Topic : What I did yesterday.

I received a phone call from a company telling me they had been advised I was involved in an accident. Sometimes I get annoyed at these type of phone calls and sometimes I play along as I am retired and enjoy the sport.

I told the gentleman that it was convenient he called as I had been in an accident and lost a leg. He was most sympathetic. We discussed how my wife and I, hopping, had been unable to locate the leg at the accident scene. Still sympathetic. This was shooting fish in a barrel and was not as entertaining I had expected.

I raised the stakes and was still getting sympathy until we had got to my wife and I having lost 3 legs between us in the accident. I could hear doubt creeping into the gentleman callers voice and he hung up.

True story.

Does this qualify as a short essay?

You know, it's funny, because I actually fell for the bait once and ordered an essay from Essay Shark. I made many mistakes in my life but this one I'm not willing to ever repeat.

I started an essay, which started the whole world crying....
Oh if I'd only see... that the essay was about me.... ohhh no.....
