I'm about sending 2 CV to Med, so the nava war in the North Sea is over by now.
I will search in any sea zone I can.
Do you want Wavell in France?

Status: offline 		No special actions yet, USSR need to move one unit before claiming Bessarabia.

If Italian units are not advancing Egypt and you have enough units there, France loves the idea getting another HQ and more CW units.

I guess all transporters in Europe are used so CW can't send any units to Rotterdam?

In China, Nat Communist should have 2 units in Chengchow or Japs destroy that GAR easily. Japanese units are focusing south, Nationalist are in trouble. Retreat in order, double stack in mountains if possible and choose blitz table if possible (if you can retreat) to save units.


There is not much France or USSR can do, here are instructions:

No DoW or special actions.

USSR and France combined.

Naval move
France sends 2x BB from Marseilles to West Med box 3.

We can try to sink that Italian ship in West Med.

Rail move
French 5-3 INF from Marseilles to 55,31 same hex with HQ Billote.

Land move
USSR
5-4 INF on Manchurian border hex 59,162 to 62,160 with another 5-4 INF.
Mongolian CAV 3 hexes north to 51,134.
3-4 CAV in southern Poland one hex SW to 56,50.


I don't think there is anything else France can do but wait...

Axis are going to attack in Mediterranean, German division is in Trieste. Also Italian TERR in flanking towards Cairo.

Status: offline 		I’m not sure if Wavell makes it to France any time soon, trasporters are in North Sea and they can’t return anywhere but UK. CW can use trasporters to bring units to Belgium/France when Germany attacks (next impulse) and make sure with Wavell that Egypt does not fall.

Can CW send one oil and a couple of BPs or resources to France? That would help France survive little longer.

Of course I Will send you the resouces you ask me for.

I could send two trans to Giraltar at RTB. I can then send one TRA to Port Said, an the other at sea with the fleet, for naval reorg.

I Italy doesn´t send her fleet to sea, I could send Wavell to France.

Talking about Russia, you can do whatever you want. I´ve pick an extra chit, it was low, and the one picked to tension pool was high,
so it doesn´t matter if we lost the chits.

I think that chosing the option of sending resources was worthy enough.

Status: offline 		When Germany attacks Belgium, I suggest standard set up (CAV to Liege, 2x INF units to Antwerp and CPs to somewhere far away).

USSR has placed CAV one hex too far to west. I need to move that and take Bessarabia next turn, it is possible even if bad weather continues. After that I rebase planes and attack Persia.

Things look bad in China. Nationalist should retreat, Communist will move unit to thread NE China, Japan need to send some units there to block it. Chungking MIL should go to Nanyang, it is in supply there.


Instructions for impulse:

USSR and France combined.

Naval move
France sends CP from Algiers to Bay of Biscay.

Rail move
USSR rail MOT div from Vilna to Leningrad.

Land move

There are few thing Allies might want to do.

France:
Send CPs to west and east Med to get Iraq oil for production.

CW:
1) Send empty TRS from UK to Cape St. Vincent box 0, so that it can return to Egypt and bring ARM HQ to France next turn.
2) Send CA to North Sea and Faroes Gap. Always keep one unit on those sea areas or German ships can sail to North Atlantic when they are based to Kiel. We are playing with "In The Presence Of The Enemy" so those CAs will stop that raid.
3) Send CV from UK to Gibraltar, unless you already sent it. This came to my mind after closing the game.

USSR:
Move Com Chinese HQ to Tungkwan and MIL from Tungkwan two hexes east. 5-3 INF one hex NE. NExt turn I get INF to supply and can move it twice before it is disorganized.

Nationalist Chinese:
Retreat towards Chungking with every unit that can move (except with Warlords and 4-1 GAR in Chengchow).


What do you think about these?

Sounds like a plan. Remember to send transporters to box 0 so that it reaches Egypt.

Also send some weak CAs to North Sea and Faroes Gap.

You can play impulse and do French and USSR moves. I think France has CPs in Syria and Casablanca.

No DoW.

France and USSR combined.

France sends CP from Casablanca to West Med.

French bomber attack Munich landing back to same hex where it starts (56,33).

Land moves

USSR
Com Chinese MIL to Tungkwan.
Com Chinese HQ one hex west to mountain.

France
MIL in 56,31 (woods) to 53,30 (SE of Lille)

Now all Nat Chinese units can run to west, most likely turn ends. I suggest to take risk with 3-4 CAV and move one hex west.

Status: offline 		About escorts... I think CW should keep 2 ships in 0 box and 2 ships in higher box ready to drop down next turn. One ship in box 0 does not effect to submarines enough.

Note that German ships can return to Kiel, including AMPH. I wonder why they bring that too, are they going to UK? You need to keep some land units (1-2) in UK always. And keep ship on North Sea at the end of every turn.

Status: offline 		All German ships went to Kiel. They also built PARA div. CW must be carefull with possible attack to UK. At least if all units leave UK they might attack even if it’s not a plan at the moment.

USSR claims Bessarabia. If that is denied, all USSR plans will be redone.

USSR combined, France naval.

I suggest CW sends Wavell to Bay of Bengal on transporter and debarks him to Bayonne where he is safe. You can debark him this impulse if you choose combined or next impulse if you choose naval. Don't sail to southern France ports, Axis naval bombers in Italy will attack.

I suggest CW sends to France 2 of following units: MOT, INF or London MIL. I would say INF and MIL, but MOT is in Plymouth and TRS can sail to Bay of Biscay where it is safe from Kriegsmarine.

Maybe naval is good option so that you can get escorts to all seas, weather is bad and Germany may send submarines now and attack Belgium when weather is better.


Naval moves for France
Transporter from Brest to Cape Verde Basin box 0, load MIL on it.
3x BB from Marseilles to West Med box 3.
2x BB and CA from Oran to West Med box 3.
CA in West Med box 1 to box 0.
Sub from Marseilles to Italian coast bo 2. No need for CW to send sub this impulse, France takes hit if Axis find.

4x CA in Casablanca are free for CW to use as escorts in Cape St. Vincent and Cape Verde Basin. Maybe 2x 5 speed to CSV box 4 and 2x 6 speed to CVB box 4.
CA from Aden to East Med box 4.
2x CP from Aden to Beirut.

France initiates combat on Italian coast.

Rail move
USSR rail 5-1 GAR from Kiev to Cernauti.

Land move
Sian MIL one hex east with HQ.

3-4 CAV in Poland to 52,52 woods.
ENG from Odessa to 57,57.
INF from 56,55 toi Odessa.
3-2 ARt to Chisinau.


I suggest Nat Chinese give up Nanyang and send MIL to Chengchow, that why their units live longer. Or MIL try to escape west, 1 hex this impulse and 2 hexes next impulse.

Status: offline 		About aborted combat. With all CPs sink or aborted, Allies should stay. Sub can’t really hurt cruisers, but cruisers can sink sub. Now we can send new CPs but without escorts.

Status: offline 		I just noticed, that attack to Persia is not automatic, as ARM HQ don't reach capital

Well, there is not turning back and reinforcements are too far to be railed. So attack will be done with minor risk.

Odds are pretty good, I get 4:1 attack. With ground strikes I try to hit so that defender gets automatically killed even if I lose both attacking units (10% chance). Even if I lose both, HQ can take capital.

Status: offline 		It's even worse. What if the Persians decide not to put the CAV in the capital, but in the mountains, making it twice as strong? If you attack it, than you might get disorganised and next turn that pesky MIL turns up in Teheran.

That's why you always need a 4 moving INF at the most southern mountain hex next to the Caspian Sea south of Baku. It forces the Persians to setup the CAV in Teheran...

Status: offline 		If it’s on mountais, can’t I just ground stike it with all planes and run with CAV around it (if I attack at the start of summer turn)? Or can Japanese send peacekeeper to southern port and rail it to Teheran?

Next turn ski div is coming, it has move 4. That should help?
