It's June 6th again, which means it's time for our D-Day sale!

June 6th 1944 marked the start of the largest amphibious invasion in history - we choose this day every year to offer a hefty discount on all our titles set in World War II.

How does it work?

Starting from today until June 10th you have a 30% discount on a selected list of games. You can get the discount by entering "D-Day30" in the Coupon code field in your store Cart. The offer is only valid on the Slitherine and Matrix stores.

Having trouble with using the Coupon? Please read this guide. If you're still having trouble, you can contact our customer support.

Neither Paypal or credit card payments are working. Maybe I won't buy anything after all.

normally a browser issue, re try with another browser, as normally either a browser or popup blocker which stops a given action from taken place etc, should then work fine, if not post a email to support

I have entered the discount code D-Day30 into the coupon box and pressed 'Update' and the price remains the same. I have tried this several times, as well as clearing the cache, the shopping basket and trying again. After I press the update key, it says 30% discount is applied, however, the price remains the same.
Please send me an email as to what I need to do differently.

I am also having the same issues. I've gone as far as the 'push to purchase' button and it does not show the proper updated cost.

My issue is slightly different. I want to buy Desert War 1940-42. It will allow me to put in the promo code and shows the discounted price. However, it will not process the transaction, either using PayPal or credit card. However, if I remove the promo code it will process the transaction, at full price. Maybe it is not really on sale.

@VPaulus, it was Decisive Campaign Blitz from Warsaw to Paris. I tried it again this morning and it now shows the proper amount.

@Pomdunor
Please contact your bank/credit card company and check if they are allowing transactions to Bluesnap.com and matrixgames.com.

Dang, I was hoping that more than WW2 games would be on sale. I was looking forward to getting Distant Worlds, a space game, this summer thinking it was a July 4th sale. Oh well guess I'll have to wait for the big annual X-Mas sale.

Red,
Thanks so much for the sale info, a definitely great discount! One reason why I like the saying about the squeaky wheel getting greased.

If I get the game at COG do they also offer the latest patch update or can I use the ones from Slitherine and Matrix?

I have no Idea Omnius. Usually, any game that you buy at GOG is just as buying it retail, which means official patches/updates work. At least that´s how it´s been with the games I have bought at GOG. GOG is quite legal with all that so I would Imagen that if a update comes along, they will add that to it´s game, or official update will work too.

GOG is the best next thing to buying from Matrix, but I havent bought a Matrix game on GOG yet so can´t say for sure. All other games like SWAT-4 or Panzer Elite have worked with official updates and/or mods, so I would see no reason why Matrix games would be different.

GOG games are always set with the latest update, that I know.

Ok, while buying SWAT 3 a few minutes ago, I found out that if you use "GOG Galaxy" app to download and install your game, it will keep your game(s) up to date.

BTW, you get "Sunless Sea" game free if you spend more then $5 on any game.

You can also just download the game installer (manual download) and keep it for off-line install.

All good then Omnius
