Baseball fans may want to set their DVRs to record this.

Always wondered what his stats would have been if he hadn't missed seasons during WW2 and Korea.

He wasn't the only one. I wonder what Yogi Berra's stats would have looked like had he not been deployed in WWII.

Remember as a kid going to the sports department at Sears and seeing all the Ted Williams autographed baseball gear. Had a few of those items myself. :)

Have watched the documentary. Good job, I would say. I have a friend who pretty much hates sports. Sometimes I get him to watch something while I explain it to him. I've done this with baseball, football, golf and tennis. He responds in ways, or ask questions, that show he gets it, sorta. Nonetheless, the only thing he's shown attraction to, and it is false as it is only to taunt me, is curling. When he first saw that, it was hilarious to him. He had no more patience to actually watch it than myself. As I said, his attraction was only to taunt me with it. I, however, got him to watch this documentary with me, and what he said about Ted Williams is that he is Achilles.

I'm going to have to agree with that, Ted Williams is Achilles.

That does put him in a category all by himself; doesn't it?

One should never call Ted Williams a heel.

Not a heel, a tendon!

Nope, no one has as many as Yogi.

If I remember correctly, Yogi got one with the NY Mets as a base coach.

Don't think so, but not 100% sure. Mets only won two World Series, '69 and '86, Yogi wasn't there in '69. Not sure about '86.
