What did I say to give you that impression? I am certainly not the most experienced after several months into this six-year-old game. But I am certainly not a novice anymore since I have played so many hours lol. I never intend to hide or mislead anyone on this.

I spent a few years in the US before moving to Osaka. So not Tokyo, but close.

Huh? I read in my AAR that you just began. Yet you seem to have gotten good quick.

Oh, in Osaka. I thought I read you were in Tokyo. Going to have to dig up that email and check my sanity ;-) Yes I do know the geography there.

How does Kerch work as a port? Can it link together the Black Sea and Sea of Azov zones without being on the rail net? Even if it does am I right in thinking that the German's available shipping in the Azov zone will be limited to what can be projected out of that size 3 port only?

Yes - although it is in effect considered as two ports in the two different sea zones. Even if Axis captures Azov ports such as Kerch or more commonly on the north coast though they never have shipping there.

North--still attempting to delay the move around the lake. You may be asking why I didnt destroy that motorized division--- because in 1 turn it managed to build a lvl 1 fort and was showing fully supplied with 45 CV......Is no way I can amass enough CV to push 45 CV even with every division up there and I wouldnt be able to use most them due to needing 16 MP to attack.

Center- well not looking good but at least I have enough worthless units to start working on a moscow defense line - BTW they dig very slowly lol..I do manage to slow him some by 2 counterattacks opening his pocket and in turn cutting off his panzers

South--nothing good here the raid forces are lost but I had to buy time as the Germans are moving so fast the Soviets really cannot move out industry fast enough.

Crimea---he gets ready to mop up my forces there. Since they are now finally cut off. He had taken the port the turn before but a newly spawned full naval BDE walks into it...will at least slow his supply some. I will say lesson here is never defend the crimea...defend the bottleneck to kerch and the port only you have no chance doing what was historically done the way the game plays.

North- playing risky but I must hold leningrad as long as possible. Is just what it is.---his motorized division in leningrad decides to drive away linking up with another motorized division...I manage to rout one and push the other back across the river. The rout isnt really all that good tho as it immediately gets fully refuled from being sent back close to the rail line.....

South- basically its run time, I got most of the industry out of stalino--but as you can see kharkov and rostov are both also under threat..and well moscow not to far behind...at leningrad Im just going to lose the industry period as the raid cut the rail and the soviets dont really fix rail until winter for some reason....might be a good game change to all rail engineers by the soviets to be sent out so raids arent so devastating to industry evac....just a thought....the soviet player can always send them back to stavka if they dont want to fix the line.

Far north---we start to retreat as the defenses by the lake are pocketed....is no more ability to buy to time. Again I must not understand WW2 history very well because the Germans are just amazingly fast and well supplied lol.

Center--well after attacking my lines...then getting isolated....then having interdiction from zocs on their supply lines---the germans still manage to punch through the initial line of my defenses and already destroy 2 of the forts....pretty much compromising the only chance to defend moscow because soviets dig so slow I wont be able to rebuild any forts basically.

South---I run- as the germans are mean nasty and fast and my soviets have no chance in a fight with them....save what I can is the only choice. Yes the germans were tactically better...but the logistics situation is much, much to rosy for them this far forward in 1941...he is well, well ahead of historical and still well supplied. Patch team needs to fix some things me thinks.

Crimea- germans take Kerch...not like the soviets can defend anything at all under this patch version.....just my opinion maybe but the CV differences are insane, and soviets dig like grandmas this edition of the game.

OOB- no real gain, with the super fast german advance ive already lost alot of population so my overall army is very quickly feeling the effects. By winter I will prolly be recruiting only around 100k men a week and less in 1942, will prolly be game over...also I think under this patch Stalingrad is achievable for the germans in 1941....nerf germans some please they are over the top- less fuel, slower rail repair esp in the baltics are probably needed.

Center- nothing good-prolly going to lose moscow but trying to buy time till mud--which really In my opinion is a game issue the Germans should not be so fast that moscow is under attack this quickly this heavily...just my thoughts. Pretty sure historical when mud hit the line was still well to the west.

I think you probably could have destroyed it by locking it in the city hex. There were so many troops around and i was really sending that mot as Kamikaze A tactics i love to use but is banned by house rule in another game of mine

beender- its a possibility but if that attack failed it would have compromised the entire defense...as well with the slow digging right now I would have lost all my forts on the southern end of the line compromising the entire situation even if I won. So a big risk for an iffy attack...as I would have only had like maybe 15 CV for the attack against 45 CV showing....yes mass can make up some different but I dont think It can overcome that much. esp since you were still green on supply.

Center forced to give ground of due to german movements would result in him routing a huge chunk of the defense line....as he has a habit of punching the rear out so then an attack on a 3 stack routs them all.
