Well I really didn't find anything interest me and already bought few games that I wasn't happy with it at all.

Just curious did anyone buy anything with this nine years of membership?

I was thinking of Battlefront, could be good for my table top combat simulation carry out or Gary Grisby's World at War. Not sure if I will like World at War, but the forum is almost empty on both games I mention. Both are 39.99 each, pretty high though.

What is this discount of which you speak? I don't recall ever getting a discount offer from Matrix...

I just received my 10 year discount (35%) so picked up AGEOD English Civil War and three of the CMNAO Live scenarios - Don of a New Era, Commonwealth Collision and Pole Positions (I have the rest).

I have a few of the "bigger" AGEOD titles including Civil War II and To End All Wars and have struggled to get into them. I'm hoping the smaller scope of ECW might help to get into the system. I've only played the tutorial but so far, so good.

I appreciate the anniversary discounts!

Cheers

Just used my 9th year coupon (31% off) for GG War in the West and Operational Art of War IV. Paid for both around 45$ so a very good deal IMHO. I really appreciate these anniversary coupons. I use them every year to pick 1-2 games from Matrix.

Incidentally, can you combine it with Xmas sale items?

Yes, that's the beauty of these coupons. Be sure to copy the whole coupon. Usually they begin with the amount of discount like 31%-........... That "31%" is a part of the coupon.

I used my discount for Armored Brigade, too. Of course now everything is on sale.

Have you tried the Decisive Campaigns series? I recently went back and started a Blitzkrieg Warsaw to Paris campaign. Had not played that one in quite a while and embarrassed myself by losing the Poland campaign to the normal AI. Got stopped on the last turn trying to capture the Warsaw objective. Frittered the game away by not pushing my mobile forces forward fast enough until too late and not using cards. So I started again to try to do it right this time. Of course Case Blue is better and Barbarossa is just remarkable with role playing elements involved. Of course it all depends on preferences.
