Rest in Peace Jozeph.

His AAR against Obvert was one of the few I read completely and enjoyed a lot.

My condolences to his family.

A good man gone far too young.

I know he enjoyed building models as well...like many of us on this forum. Shared interests, shared friends, just so sad.

Sad to see the Old Guard passing, and he wasn't that old.
Terrible news and prayers for his friends and family.

Late to this thread because I have such a hard time dealing with this.

Lost my younger brother to this insidious disease almost 8 years ago now and I still haven't gotten over it.

All we who remain can do is try to find consolation in the faith that Joseph is a a better place now free from pain and suffering.

A friend (& brother of a friend who is also a brother in-law) a few years ago. Just a year older than me; the best of the best; clean living and kind to all.

My wife's cousin had a four year old boy who died of leukemia. A cruel fact of life that made it clear to me that life is capricious and we cannot expect everyone we know to live long and happy lives. So I take my solace in the fine qualities of the people I have known (living and already passed) and thank my lucky stars that I got to know them a bit.

Joseph is one of these, and I will remember him fondly as a kind and helpful forumite and courageous fighter against his disease. He never game me the impression he was bitter at the hand he was dealt and carried on with dignity to the end. We should all be so strong. To Joseph's memory

True, at least in my conversations with him in his last few months. Brave kid. Miss his posts, always so wrought with anguish about something he missed in a turn.
