Status: offline 		I have been away for a week, so was not commenting on anything. Great to see this AAR continue.

For conquering Japan, the Allies should take a look at the automatic surrender rules. The game ends if one side controls eleven specific cities. As far as I can tell, the only ones held by the Axis are Berlin, Rome, and Tokyo. Berlin and Rome are going to fall. So to end the game, all the Allies have to do is take Tokyo. This is MUCH easier than getting a complete conquest of Japan, with all those horrible mountains.
