Turn 20. Nov/Dec 1942. Allied #5.

USN Pacific Fleet. P.S. Coral Sea. Forgot to add this one. MacArthur and AA gun successfully make a draw through the Coral Sea form Australia to Rabul. Everything was file until the loss of the 3 allied CP's in the Coral Sea put MaAruthur and all of Rabul out of supply, not to mention messing with allied production convoys! That is, the loss of these 3 CP's have now disrupted the routes of the Free French, New Caledonia RP to US and 2 Australian RP's to Canada.

USSR. Northern Front.

2nd Siberians have pushed to a position where they could cut Rommel's supply (rail) line from the south next allied impulse if the weather is snow or fine (no possible). The 3rd Soviet infantry army has pushed into the woods northwest of Perm, and if supplied, is also a threaten to Rommel's supply line from the north.

Japan. Post-Impulse. Occupied Soviet Asia. Outrage and dishonor at Imperial Headquarters in Japan. For some unknown reason no Japanese forces moved in this area. Admiral Yamamoto's staff claims he was given orders by the army to remain on current positions. Imperial Army HQ in Tokyo claim that these orders were misdirected and intended for Japanese armies in Southern China. This was especially frustrating because a Soviet RP was waiting capture and consumption in a Japanese factory.

Actually, as the Soviet player I just forgot to move these Japanese units.

Germany. Brest. U-boat Fleet. Germany's active u-boat fleet consists of 7 flotillas based in Best. Germany took a combine in order to unleash these flotillas on allied convoys.

Germany. Battle of the Atlantic. Cape St. Vincent. This was an especially important victory for the allies as they didn't want to lose supply (again) to their forces in the Med; especially those in Italy and off the Italian Coast.

Preliminary Production. Western Allies. After losing CP's in two sea areas (i.e., Coral Sea and Bay of Biscay), things really don't look that bad for allied production. The screen caps below are before the allies have had a chance to adjust their production due to losing convoys. In fact, (not shown) Great Britain still has two saved oil points in London, which were apparently overlooked last turn. The up-shot of all this is that the Western Allies will get their full production potential this turn, though at a hit in their oil stockpiles.

Use Oil. Axis. Note: German and Italy expended the oil point at USSR[59,71]. Apparently there's no location to which this oil point can be saved though it can be used for reorganization. So, the fact that Germany & Italy consumed the oil point for reorganization was of no consequence.

USA. Pacific. Admiral Nimitz, commander of all US air, land and sea forces in the Pacific (expect for those allocated to MacArthur) is livid! First off, he's getting angry communications from MacArthur's staff on Rabul about the navy's inability to keep him supplied. Secondly, MacArthur himself isn't complaining to Nimitz but to President Roosevelt who's chewing out Nimitz's boss, Admiral King. And Admiral King is taking a bit off Nimitz's tail in return. At lastly, because of the supply problems in the Coral Sea, or rather the lack of supply, a number of carrier task forces had to return to Pearl, including the marine I amphibious corps. The desire was to have them base forward in a "supplied" Rabul.

Liberation. Germany "liberates" Italy, or at least the part of Italy that they control, and return it back to a newly formed puppet Italian pro-Germany government.
