Spoiler alert. This turned out to be almost a perfect, game winning turn for the axis. But, when all looked lost for the allies the god of dice intervened.

Actions. Japan - naval, Germany - land, Italy - land.

South China Sea. USN/RN intercept attempt fails.

IJN. New Zealand Coast. Ouch, two allied CP's sunk, 1 aborted and all CP's cleared out from the New Zealand Coast.

IJN. The Solomons. Another sea area cleared of all allied convoys with 1 sunk. Also, Japanese I-boats, which had a chance to sink a USN transport squadron, manage to damage it.

RN/USN South China Sea. Though both sides find, this would have to be called a Japanese victory; especially with ships fighting that shouldn't have been included in the battle (i.e., Japanese battleships in the 0-box).

IJN. The Solomons, Bismarck, Coral Sea, New Zealand Coast. A brutal series of battles for the USN. They see 3 CP's sunk, 3 CP's aborted, a transport, 3 modern battleships damaged and no supply/transport CP's left in the Solomons, Coral Sea or New Zealand Coast.

The Eastern Front. Baku Enclave. The Germans manage to collapse the Baku Enclave, which is now on the verge of destruction and complete capture. Also, with the help of the Turkish ally the axis manage to position themselves for a major push into Persia.

"The International Rules of War Committee". Because of the naval combat bug encountered in the battle fought in the South China Sea and documented here http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4635560

And because of the importance of Japanese convoys to the outcome of this war.

The International Rules of War Committee has decided to compensate for the bug encountered by:

(1) Restoring the aborted RN CV's (x2) and CA to the 2-box of the South China Sea

(2) Declaring the "damaged" USN sub group as sunk by the US agreeing not to repair said sub group.

Seriously though, the war in the Pacific between the allies and Japanese is a tight affair and Japanese convoys are critical. If the next weather roll produces non-storm weather (i.e., 40% chance with 10% fine, 30% rain) then RN carrier planes could become critical as well as impact of Japanese CP's on allied naval search in the South China Sea.
