After getting their breakthrough in Turkey, I would have advanced into the mountain hex. Yes, this would have flipped the advancing unit, but that would put you on the right side of the river, and force the Axis to react. If the Allies were lucky enough to get a double move, the whole Turkish army would have to backpedal furiously to avoid being cut off. Even without a double move, the Turkish army would be forced to retreat. A few German units would stabilized the front, but that is a couple of units the Germans would not want to have to use.

Yes, I debated that move but played the chance that the allies would have gotten another impulse, which they did't.

Use Oil. Germany. Wow, while Japan enough oil plus a decent surplus, Germany is flushed with oil. The axis oil situation at this point in the game is incredible.

Use Oil. Western Allies. It's the Western Allies who are starting to experience oil shortages. In fact, USA production will be less than 100% because of it.

Use Oil. USSR. The USSR appears to have plenty of oil stockpiled and, with respect to reorganization they do as long as they can maintain CP's in the Caspian Sea due to 10 oil points or more being stored in Perisa. A "secret" they fear is now out of the bag.

But, with respect to production only 2 points per turn of this oil can be used for production due to the limited number of CP's in the Caspian Sea. Again, another "secret" that's out of the bag.

Look for the Germans targeting the Soviet CP's in the Caspian Sea this turn.

Liberation. Tunisia is "liberated" this turn by the US and returned back to the French.

Surrender. Again, both the Soviet Union and China refuse to surrender to the axis.

i don't get it why would you ever surrender china or russia - the game should have some % chance to not surrender (you can choose yes but no should not be auto - like US declare war)...?

The only reason I could see is if that's the only country the opposing axis power is at war with. In that case, once the country surrenders then the opposing axis power would only be able to take a combine or pass and each ship moved would count as a one naval move.
