Another tiny decision that would have improved the Allied position (i.e. on-board forces) in this game was the Soviet occupation of the Baltic States. This cost the Allies a “4” chit from the US Entry pool. The best turn to do that (and other miscellaneous non-essential US Entry related activities such as aligning Siam), is J/F 41, when the entry pools will be the most diluted with the lowest value 1940 chits. Maybe N/D 40 for the Baltics if there is a risk of the Germans going in.

The Sturmoviks should have been coming out of the Soviet factories in mass production by now. Unfortunately, there isn't any plane being build by the Soviets...

Same with the artillery for the Chinese and bombers for the Wallies. Sure, those nice US FTR's have some grounds strike capabilities, but it's simply not enough.

What is happening in this game is that to be able to move forward, the Allies have to attack organized units in far to many cases. This causes high losses of ground units. Also, valuable ground units are wasted by the Soviets, since they need to contain pockets of German units. Those should have been ground struck and destroyed long ago...

Status: offline 		I am an idiot. I always did those things in N/D 40, because, hey, 1940 chits in 1940. J/F 41 is clearly better.

One serious comment: Sometimes the US player will tell his allies early that now is great time to pull US entry chits out of the pull. This is not a good situation to be in, but I have been there. ("Are there nothing but ones in the pool?")

Actions. The US really wanted to take a super-combine but didn't have any O-chits. In the end, the Western Allies all decide to take a much needed naval in order to get their Atlantic and Pacific patrols and invasion fleets out to sea in force.
