Ordinarily I am quick to resign a game -- probably too quick. This game, however, deserves to be continued simply for the sheer horror of the Axis position in France. Resigning it would leave open the question: How bad can it get? By the way, the US Gear-up this turn was expected. The US still has no chance for attempting to declare war in 1941, a small chance J/F '42, a decent chance M/A, and a pretty good chance M/J. The Axis could delay this a turn by not taking Paris. (Somehow, this last does not seem like a good strategy!) Expect to see Fleet to Pearl this turn, and whatever the Americans can come up with against Ge/It. They have to move six points of tension, minus whatever they got over from Gear up. This could be two chits; on the other hand, it could go one, one, zero, one, .... I have seen both.
