The one with the 0 A2A first - if gets away with a damage then takes the second damage too. Everything to try and protect the convoys if that is even possible please.

How many surprise points please?

However, the Oklahoma is too slow to dodge the long-lance salvo and limps away from the battle.

As said, the Japanese have nowhere to retreat to. The search/combat continues until every last Japanese lies at the bottom of the South China Sea or the searches fail.

Hold until relieved!! (in Japanese)

The two fleets lose contact with each other (both rolled 7).

Do the Axis want to have a shot in Biscay?

No air missions.

Soviet forces advance into Manchuria from the north and north-west.

Two convoys move to the South China Sea

A battleship and two cruisers sail for the South China Sea 2-box

I don't intercept as its obvious where these are going.

The Japanese don't initiate - what about the Allies?

Naval Search:

South China Sea

It is possible to use the Spitfire. The Japanese bring in two NAV to the 2-box.

Allies - 8
Axis - 3

The Japanese call only units in the 2-box. There are 5 surprise points.

The US has the choice of Naval Air. I move the game on as if you say yes then its Naval Air, and if you say no then I would choose Naval Air.

I use the surprise points to increase Axis A2A and reduce Allied A2A

Houston we have a problem. The result on Nevada was a 4 and she is damaged. However, I had to run the program again as I accidentally chose New Mexico. When I ran the program again (with identical throws) the game is telling me its 1 Dest and 2 Dam .

I'll have to run it through a third time to see what it gives me but I'm not doing that tonight. So either the next throw is a Damaged or an Abort depending on what gives? I can only guess I entered a dice roll incorrectly when I re-did it and it should be 1 Dest, 1 Dam and 1 Abort.

The X, D, A was the correct result. X, 2D was the next column up. I guess you might have hit a 2, rather than 3 for the 2nd AA roll when you re-ran it.

Pick it up again tomorrow.
