Status: offline 		Can anyone comment on the state of affairs between Matrix and developer Niels Bauer regarding the newest versions of the Smugglers series?

I was considering buying Smugglers IV when research showed Smugglers V (and DLCs) were being sold elsewhere, and at a fraction of the Matrix price.

It seems clear from the 2013 post in the upper forum, apparently quoting Niels, that his development effort is focused on the newer product, and there may be some disconnect with Matrix.
