I am playing S19 as IJN. The computer keeps sending LRB's over PM, where I have stationed 7 squadrons of different fighters. 2 Zero2(exp 67,68), 2 Zero3(exp 72,78), 1 Nick(exp 73), 1 Tony(exp 72) and 1 Irving(Night, exp 90). I put them up with a 30% CAP everyday in order to keep their moral over 90 and fatique under 20. The bomber come in at 6000 ft, my fighters are set at 10000 ft. In an average day there are 30-50 fighters waiting for the bombers. However, most fighters don't engage at all. They simply watch the LBRs slip by and bomb my AF, especially when the AI sent B17s or B24s. It is really frustrating. My figher's exp is not very high but certainly above average; the moral is very high, fatique fairly low. Yet, they refuse to fight. What is the problem with them?

They may be trying. Are you watching the combat annimations? Japanese fighters have very little success against Allied heavies. The should hit mediums though. Try lowering your CAP altitude to 7000 feet. They may too late in diving to meet the enemy.
