Japan attacks the Lanchow Warlord NW of Lanchow.

The ART bombards the hex, and one LND2 flies ground support for a total of 4 points.

Will the Communists select assault or blitz?

Hmmm. It seem like the saved Vichy oil in Syria didn't get transferred to mainland Vichy last end of turn. Perhaps this can be fixed? Should be one less oil in Syria and one in mainland Vichy. At least that is how I understand it.

Well, attrition is going to happen to your air planes at random points and I would take 2 shot down in exchange for my desired weather rolls on any turn of the game.

This was another fascinating run through a campaign in Greece. I am starting to think it is quite a bit like a WiF campaign in Norway where the corps sized units can't possibly cover the same amount of possibilities that historical Commanders-in-Chief could, on both sides.

Facing a plethora of Axis divisions, Greece has little choice but to hunker down in Athens.

Though in this game I started wondering - what if the Greek MTN unit was placed in the center of the Peloponnesos peninsula, the hex with the letters "PONN" in it. This would put a ZoC on both Patras and Kalamai and keep the Axis out of them for at least one impulse, as they would still have adjacent hexes to land in for free if desired.

And then the Axis surprise Ground Strikes seemed like a brilliant way to just pin the MTN unit anway, and stacking it in Athens would only draw the Ground Strikes there as well. And Athens still has to be held or the Axis can just land adjacent to it, also.

So far though, I haven't been able to parse through whether costing the Axis an extra impulse of activity in southern Greece would have ultimately made any difference, though the results of the Ground Strike on the MTN unit would be a key variable. Still though, WiF is a game of time, not units, and an extra weather roll might not hurt the chance for the Greeks to at least cost the Axis some of either. I think.

Very discouraging turn in China and Greece, clear weather and nice Axis success in both places. US doesn't seem to care about much and entry remains very low even considering SU DOW on JP in 1940 (or it seems this way from Allied perspective). Allied morale plummeting.

Actually, can the German NAV3 land in hex 74,39 on Sicily? That is, if it isn't already done.

Yes, East Med NAV3 is landing Sicily. I was worried should there be another NAV3 also.

Weird thing happened after I edited German div from Crete to Greece: it was placed to adjacent hex. So I reloaded and moved it to Italy.

Also for some reason CW production was changed from 15 BPs and 9 saved oils to 16 BPs and 8 saved oils. But I go with that.

It looks to me like China built one GARR and one CAV Div. Is the GARR correct, or should it have been a MIL?
