In that case US must compensate next turn by discarding 2 BPs. First turn after invasion we had no CP in West Med at all.

I mean first impulse we were not shipping anything. Did we have to pick them up automatically or keep in Marseilles?

Jan/Feb 1943 Allied impulse 1 - start of the impulse.


SITUATION REPORT TO ALLIED HQ


LAST TURN
Last turn Allied managed to get another small bridgehead to France, this time in Northern France. Allies also have little larger, but under immediate danger, bridgehead in Southern France. For a year or two Allies have been holding 3 hexes in Denmark.

Germany captured Murmansk causing massive losses to USSR, mostly in planes and pilots. Strong Axis air forces can be diverted to other fronts.


SITUATION IN EACH BRIDGEHEAD
Weather is fine everywhere in Western Europe during the first impulse.

Southern bridgehead must be covered, if being cut out of supply it will be destroyed very soon. Attacking is not possible.

Northern bridgehead is strong compared to surrounding forces, but attacking is very risky.

Denmark bridgehead is safe, but cannot attack.

Allied need more units to North Africa before they can attack without big risk.


ENEMY SITUATION IN WESTERN EUROPE
Germany deployed almost all their fresh troops to Eastern Front. Most likely due to USSR constant attacks and losses caused to Germany. USSR is also building offensive chits, next summer they will have 3 of them. Germany is probably preparing for USSR summer offensive.

Axis are capable to challenge Allied forces in West Med and try to cut supply from southern bridgehead. Axis forces are strong around southern bridgehead.

Axis cannot perform attacks to other bridgeheads, just prevent Allied from advancing.

Axis have large number of all kind planes in Western Europe.
