Mine is a Lenovo refurb item. No idea who it was made for originally. The main details though, are the processor is definitely much faster. And I have 8 ram. I don't play demanding games, so I don't have a dedicated video card. Drive space, not relevant. I have about 8 cumulative TB of drives plugged into the system over all. I immediately when I purchase a digital game, store the installer in about 4 places not physically linked. I learned a valuable lesson when a 2TB backup drive died on me, all because it flopped on it's side while sitting on a desk surface. Nothing is perfect. So rule one, nothing bigger than 2TB. Rule two, if it's valuable, store it in 3+ locations. Redundacy is your friend :) Probably the most important aspect of my whole operation, is the internet service provider. I'm with Teksavvy, a Canada wide business. I'm using DSL. Drop dead Rogers and Bell Canada. A good price, and the person on the phone is a native born Canadian who speaks Canadian. By that I mean, the company uses people living in Canada. They can spell 'SERVICE'. Because right now, I'm posting via the internet. Lousy service means a lousy experience. The best rig on the market, won't matter if you can't enjoy the internet much. No gripes about 10 as of yet.
