I'll give the Cochran B&B a A-

Left that Tuesday morning with a dusting of snow on the ground. Only to fly back to Charlotte, NC to high 80s. Which place is better temp wise?? Besides that the hospitality was great.

Got introduced to ALL five of the cats...I mean masters of the house in just a few hours.
Felt right at home when their largest decided to sleep with me every night and hog the bed. Thankfully, I have a king size at home and a cat that weights only 6 lbs. Slight adjustment here.

Broke in their new smoker with their youngest who is a budding chef. John will be experimenting with his youngest for the rest of the summer and then some.
Wine select was good along with cheese and crackers.
If I'm going to be laid up sick in the future, I'm raiding their vast, vast DVD library!
As the family therapist, I'm now better informed after 5 days.
Hot tea throughout the day which helped since the temp was in 40 to 50.
Got to see and video some classic WW2 steam engines just outside of Cheyenne.
In less than hour, got Tracker up and running for Sir John. Then the refresher classes began. Lets just say that his supply situation is NOW improving.
Went up to their mtns and got up close and personal with an elk in town.
Northern Colorado = flat (4700 feet) and brown...NE Tenn = hilly and very green

OT - I needed to drive through the very southern part of Virginia today. The road was Jeb Stuart Hwy which leads to Lee Hwy.

Sounds like a great time. I've met two AE gamers locally, and had a great time as well. Hope to meet up with more in the future.

I think I have had the privilege of meeting 9 other AE gamers in person, who I first met here on these forums. I may be forgetting someone over the last 14 years since I first got the original WitP. Every one is a stand up guy and we have always had a great time. There are many others that haunt these forum halls regularly, or only occasionally these days, that I hope to work out a chance to share a beer with in the future.
