Hi folks! Thanks Crispy for a new funny game! The first i must say its that "yes", the game was "tainted" to the German side. I must say that i don't know the mod (neither the game) so deeply (scritps, particulary) so this is a point for my opponents. But, yes, in this case the R&D issue was so strong. My strategy was "All for Russia" as you could see. So i tried to reduce all the other expensive strategies. I only try to use subs... but it was a fully disaster (in the first 3 years). From 1943 it was more suscessfull. This is the only investment that i tried to made in other "area" of the war. I didn't spend R&D on industrial tech until 1942, i think. Production tech was in my radar but the main purposes was tanks and planes. I had 3 level of spy tech since 1942 i think. I was lucky with a more or less quick victory on France and the delay attack of British on the Italians. My first year on Russia was not enough suscessful as i expected but, as the soviet R&D was delayed i could progress better in the following campaings. I tried to spend money on diplomacy. As Spain was out of my possibilities i tried Norway (a main priority since the beggining of the game), Vichy (as soon as i see that it could be possible due of the facts of the war) and Sweeden (too late for being suscesfull). I am happy even witht the big delay with Norway. Allies had a very smart policy in this area persuading a lot of countries to his side. The assaulto on Sicily was a mess because i was expecting it. So i had many units (and maaany planes) waiting for it. I think that allies must conquer Tunez first to have a better air support in the area. In Russia i tried to advance as much as i could, but Caucasus its a very hard place (even with R&D superiority). In fact, i conquer Stalingrad because Crispy left the city more vulnerable that Caucasus (which was my main purporse for 42/43 campaing). I usually triy to conquer the oil camps more than cities. At the end, as the timing for the games was going over, i tried a very risky movement which was to cut Moscow from the rest of the country... Just for a few more turns i could be suscessfull... but Crispy moved back and my forces was too scattered to have the enough power. I know that i was distracted with the Turkish and Finland campaings... But they were so funny! :) Regarding Operation Overlord... It was too difficult for allies as i have (at the time it began) almos every land units (and air) built. Lutfwaffe never loss the skies... and even withouth stukas in France i could kills enough units with my tanks. Well i think i could win a decisive victory if i focus my planes... but i love to enjoy playing for every hex. At the end i forgot that the game was ended in May... When i launched Seelowe it was too late... but i would pay for seeing the face of Crispy when i launched my English invasion. Well, thanks again for the game and let's go for the new one!!
