The thread was indeed highjacked because no one thought your ranting was helpful to anyone. The "attacks" on you were just feedback to tell you what others thought of your approach to a valid issue (personal data being posted). There was no need to start name calling then nor is there any now.

And closing a thread can only be done by a moderator, which they are unlikely to do just because it was highjacked in a harmless way. Just look at it as if you were a drug abuser and someone stole your drugs, doing you a favour! You're welcome.

Good Advice. But you want Rock and Roll, I don't have to look far:

Black Math
The White Stripes

Oh, don't you think that I'm bound to react now
Well, my fingers definitely turning to black now, yeeah
Maybe I'll put my love on ice
And teach myself, maybe that'll be nice, yeaah

My books are sitting at the top of the stack now
Well, The longer words are really breaking my back now, yeaah
Maybe I'll learn to understand,
Drawing a square with a pencil in hand, yeah

Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ahh, ahhh

Mathematically turning the page
Unequivocally showing my age
I'm practically center stage

Undeniably earning your wage
Well, maybe I'll put my love on ice
Teach myself, maybe that'll be nice, yeeaah

Listen master can you answer a question
Is it the fingers, or the brain that you're teaching the lesson
Oh, I can't tell you how proud I am
Writing down things I don't understand

Well, maybe I'll put my love on ice
And teach myself, maybe that'll be nice,
Yeeaah, yeeeah, yeeeah, yeeeah.

Admiral Dadman was on the right track when he guessed "pooh-ism" to my "puzzled and puzzled til his puzzler was sore" line. Anybody know the source of that quote? Everybody here (at least, everybody in American above age 50 or so, knows the program very well).
