You don't need to convert DDs to APD, they are more effective as DDs in a fight and they can still carry some troops and supplies. You need all of the DDs that you can get and then even more.

If the Allied ASW gets to be a little rough, you can lower the subs threat tolerance and hopefully that will help the subs survivve. They can still be used for an early warning system. If used as an early warning system, check what spots them in regards to LBA, float planes, and/or carrier planes as well as their DL level.

Great use in Australia, as it farms VPs!

Probably should have been a little higher where the AA isn't so fierce. 9K to 13K is usually the sweet spot.

Need recon, trained pilots, decent weather.

Thanks Rusty. I was really hitting ports pretty hard for months and now most naval units are a long way away and under very heavy cap.

Thanks Lowpe. I failed to train my naval bombers in ground attack so i am doing that now while most CVs are upgrading. I had been using recon judy's on my carriers for recon so detection was high. I'll try that altitude.

Even without training they can still get some hits and will improve their skills. Better to use them when and where the enemy is not defending than waiting to train.

Don't forget to train lots of pilots on Low Naval to attack is transports and cargo vessels with man guided weapons.
