In the research screen in the editor, is it possible to give higher levels of say mobility than level one?

I have given a nation mobility level 2 as a option, reseached it but no noticeable effect happens in game.

Are the levels hard coded?

Hi

Each unit type has an editable maximum level for each research category, so just enabling Mobility to be researched to level 2 isn't enough.

To do this, go to Campaign -> Edit Country Data -> Edit Research -> Advanced -> Upgrades

And there you'll see each country, unit and relevant research category listed, along with their Max Levels that you can amend here.

Thanks Bill. That answers that question. Another one one comes to mind now. Any way to give other unit types a second strike in the editor?

I would like to give Light Tanks that ability also when armored warfare is researched.
