East Front scenario;
I am trying to create a scenario for Leningrad, in the oob offerings, I cannot find the K5 280mm rail gun or the KE, or Karl Gustav mounted mortars....none of that nature...

Maybe using the correct year is the key, I tried Dec. 42, not in the platoon offerings or the co. or bn...any hints anyone can provide please?

These guns operated at extreme range. Isn't there possibly a way to represent them off-map or do you still need the actual unit?

Sorry I don't have an answer to your Q other than if you can't find them in the Unit List for East Front, they probably don't exist.

K5 280mm rail gun was in service from 1940 and could fire away 151km (94miles)

fritz and marc, yes I am aware and, thank you both.

Note- Thor, a k40 Karl Gustav mortar( sister unit being Odin) took out Russian gun battery maxim gorki, june 7 or 8th 42, at the siege of Sevastopol....

Jason thank you sir! I kept running OOBs using different months in 42 and finally, it loaded the the 'Karls'...BUt-

a) Where did you get the codes,do I have them? or that is should I? b) where are the rail guns? The siege of Sevastopol had a huge assortment of the Germans biggest gun platforms etc....there has to be more...(?)

Those I found in the East Front Platoon file. So if you look at the dates above, you should find the two units above that were provided in this version of the game.

The K5 280mm railroad gun is available in West Front from 01/1930 to 12/1953 for the Germans.

For whatever reason that gun is not part of East Front. There are Flak trains and Panzer trains etc. but no railroad guns.

You could always mod one and use X no-encryption for use against the AI.

On the bright side, starting with EFIII, the Campaign Series will have consistent OOB for all games.

I have dabbled in the code to create and tailor scenarios but thats a little to sophisticated for me..thx though!
