Status: offline 		Round 2 is complete. Current grid shown below. Mdanz leads Tyronec by 1/4 point at end of round 2.

EDIT: sandy / cheltham have committed, and it is not certain of Round 4 pairings. So as lower seed, tyronec should choose his color for Round 3. Sorry for the confusion.

mdanz v. tyronec (colors TBD, please advise tyronec's choice of colors for R3)
hellen (CW) v. cachou (DAK) hellen moves first
sandy (DAK) v. cheltham (CW) cheltham moves first

Closing entries. PS: reading suggestion, Upton Sinclair's "Lanny Budd" series of novels ... I am currently half way through #4 in the series, Wide is the Gate ... Lanny is getting divorced from Irma and getting more and more involved w/ anti-Nazi "underground" resistance at this point, and the Spanish War is looming ... just read a paragraph about how the Americans were involved w/ magnesium sales to the Nazis that helped weapon development there. You don't read about that stuff in your regular histories ... a very engaging read! ANYWAY, here is the grid:

Status: offline 		mdanz an I have started, I am Deutches. And what a relief, can read my combat reports now that my opponent is not French ! I think Cachou should get an extra .5 of a point per game for playing with the French version.

Thank you, yes, one of the nice features of TOAW PBEM is you get to play against folks w/ the French / Spanish versions. I've picked up some vocabulary from that LoL ok, will update grid to reflect

tyronec v. mdanz in progress (not sure which move they are on)

Hoping we might get AAR at some point,
I think I found an old AAR from TOAWIII on the TOAWIII forums,
but the images are lost I think.

Will try to post a link to that if I can find it again.

For me, I have not found a way to win with EITHER side.
I get trounced every round :)

Status: offline 		GG Tyronec. The Africa Corps, battered but intact, somehow managed to limp back to Gazala. That's about it.
And just for clarification, Tyronec was CW in our game. I was Axis.
That seems to have gotten mixed up again in this thread.
