Status: offline 		Are the downloadable database images and unit descriptions still useful in CMO, or has that info already been included?

Status: offline 		So, say someone did download those two zipped files and unzip them in their folders. Would that break anything?

Status: offline 		No, the game will check if there is already something. So you can use whatever image you want :)
