Things are going good and I'm in the mood to spend some money after a few years of self imposed spendthriftiness.

I say yes spend here..but also I reckon you should get Tank Duel by GMT. It's an amazing solo experience.

It would be nice if the recommended Tank Duel was converted to Computer play. Sorry I miss out on a good game since I'm not playing board wargames anymore.

Yeah, I'm not too good on board games, unfortunately. Meaning, I'm not much into them. But, if I were, I'd definitely get that!

Is this game similar to AH classic "Patton's Best"?

I just received yesterday my first ever purchases of a board game "Field Commander Alexander "
Iv opened the box but like demyansk i too am a bit lazy when it comes to reading the rules
But i will get round to it
And its solitaire play as well

Good job bazjak, the good thing abou t the games is that they don't go bad. I will get that tank duel opened. Also, these games don't lose much value, GMT has nice stuff over at there website.

U got that right Wodin. I bought Ambush when it came out and still own it. I sold Pattons Best, Raid on St. Nazaire, lost Tobruk but bought it last year used, a board game with Guderian on the cover-two player, forgot the name? Sold that one, had Afrika Korps but lost it, I think my mom dumped everything when they sold the house. Still own Air Assault on Crete. Never play them but Allen good. Plus, my 1970's Strato Matic got dumped for baseball and hockey!!!!!!

Big Bummer but I still kept all my baseball cards

Steam Sale starts 11/26 I prefer to purchase from them instead of Matrix/Slitherine but then again nothing from Matrix/Slitherine is even on my radar to purchase.

Sigh - too much to choose from.

I'll certainly get some of the DLC I've been holding out on.

But the real problem for me these days is not price but time to devote to the games. Typical ! when I was younger I couldn't afford the games I really wanted and now I can afford them I don't have sufficient time !
