I would even pay for a quality of life update for this game, I love it but it requires a ton of micro management.

Add at least keyboard shortcuts, for example:

Left/Right arrow keys for Previous/Next Planet.
Page Up/Down for Next/Previous Fleet
Home/End for Next/Previous Planet with a spaceport.

Also, add modifiers for increase/decrease ships on a fleet, like, hold SHIFT to add/subtract 5 at a time, hold CTRL to add/subtract 10 at a time.

Tie this to something small, like more simple random events in-game, and I think it would be very popular among the fan base.

Events could be temporary increase/decrease in productivity or research with some cosmetic flavor text.

And, if I can dream, implement a fleet management system similar to the one that Stellaris has, that would be simply AMAZING.
