I thought that I read somewhere that playing Hot Seat(still alone) my be a good option as opposed to playing Solitaire. I've not tried the Hot Seat yet. But I have been playing(learning) doing Solitaire while I learn the system.

Just curious if there is any thoughts on this Solitaire vs Hot Seat advantages/disadvantages?

The only difference between 'Hot Seat' and 'Solitaire' is that the US entry values are hidden when the Axis side is active, and that when the game switches side a sign tells you that the sides have switched.

So, in my humble opinion, there is no advantage to use Hot Seat when playing the game solo.

Thanx. So do most/many players just play solitaire only? I may like to try PBEM sometime as well.

You can play PBEM by emailing the game file to your opponent and working out a way to resolve decisions that may come up in the middle of a move and joining up for combats. FREX screen sharing software.

BTW this question has been answered dozens of times in the forums here.

My bad....thanx for the answers.

I did do searches on solitaire. The forum search is a little wonky in that it finds nothing half the time.

The trick is to set the "display topics from last" to: All
