Where can I find info about Communist China in the game? What triggers their troops to come on map? How will they interact with the Nationalist forces? I have searched for it, but with no luck.

Their mobilization increases every turn that the Japanese are close to their capital, and I guess you can Diplo them normally as well. When they join they are controlled by the allied player normally.

Hi

Page 2 of the 1939 World At War Strategy Guide gives this info:

Communist China starts the game as a neutral Minor, reflecting their lower level of activity in China’s war of resistance against Japan.

Nevertheless, Communist China can field some strong units so war with the Communists is best avoided, at least for now.

Communist mobilization can be triggered by Axis advances to within 2 hexes of Sian, Lanchow or Chungking, or 3 hexes of Yenan. The presence of Axis units within these areas have a 60% chance per turn of swinging Communist China 5-20% towards the Allies.

You can access the guide from one of the buttons at the top right of the screen while playing.

Aha, thanks! Would it be an idea to also place this rather important info in the Game Manual, not only in the scenario strategy guide?

I know what you mean and I think we did that once in the past, but as each campaign has its own Strategy Guide the Manual would end up even bigger than it is now.
