Purchased both of these games during the sale. Thank goodness I did! Both are totally unplayable. When you open the map the UI is well non-existent! Also you can't really click any units and nothing makes any bit of sense! I have never seen any war games incomplete and unplayable in over 25+ years! Also both are completely inconsistent with each other, one has Soviet only AI an the other has no AI and both can only be played hot-seat?! I hope the designer or developer actually fixes this and makes them playable. But ...

Kind of sad...

So I have figured out the basics of both games after a little more trying, somethings are odd and a little frustrating.

Games are playable, but with some idiosyncrasy to learn how to do things with out a nice big menu to choose form

glad your sorted, more of a board game converted to pc than anything else of it's type, easy to master once the basics are understood

I enjoy both games, and find them fairly simple to play. That said, I have not had any issues bar one, which the designer easily sorted out following a quick email exchange.

Patience, not one of my weaker qualities, but not a strength either :)

The games though are NOT a waste of cash.

They're nice, quick board game like programs, and they lack a Tiller interface :)

There really isn't a lot to do in playing the game. You do movement and you do combat. The trick is to move everything wisely, then choose your battles in the best sequence.

You click on the target, you then click on anything adjacent wishing to participate, the odds are given, you choose to attack or not.

Unfortunately, 'Next' turn does not mean next turn, it means Next Phase, ie go from movement to combat. Then next player.

Otherwise, this game is no worse than Heroes of Normandie, or Heroes of Stalingrad which also are short on obvious interface commands until you calmly observe what your mouse clicks are doing.

But I will mention, you will pay a lot more for the other games, and get nothing more serious in a wargame.

I wish more wargames were made like this.

Unplayable game. It is possible to select only top unit in stack. If i want move only unit which isnt on top it is not possbile or other unit disapears or game crash to desktop.
