Considering that the offer is the base game plus 17 DLCs (including a couple of mini-DLCs devoted to specific regions), I would say that they are offering everything under the sun...

I'm reminded of the adage "If it seems too good to be true, it probably isn't.". They do seem to be offering the whole package for any price above $10. Can anyone recommend this company? I never heard of them.

There are 31 DLC/Expansions. You can buy them for $341 U.S. when not on sale. I cannot imagine anyone having all of them.

This isn't just milking the cow. This is milking the whole herd.

I have only a handful of the DLC. Would like to have more but common sense got the best of me.

Forgot to mention, the Steam Workshop has tons of free stuff.

I guess this number includes the cosmetic ones too (the right uniforms for the Afghan armies who fought Napoleon for only $10!! - Paradox has a knack for those...)

This is most likely a clearance sale before they announce EU V.

I looked at it. It looks like it may be as you put more money in you get to unlock levels. Maybe you get one from each level? I have base game. was thinking about it.
There are 4 levels at $17 - for the big DLC's that's still the cost of one normally.

Humble is great... incredible deals.

But you often only get something for nothing, when it's no longer worth anything more.

Some like EU and some don't at all.

I've seen my favs go for prices like this too. Eventually, a game good or bad is yesterday's news.

Thank you coachi and MrsWargamer, that's what I was asking. I know who Paradox is. Given what I have learned about the structure of the package, I think I'll pass.

It is possible. They already announced Crusader Kings III too.

I guess they want to maintain the continuity between titles. You can load the last save from CK II into EU IV - and continue your game as a single run from the dark ages to the modern era. I did it twice: with Lombardy ---> Italy and with Sweden. It is a fascinating experience but it needs time and commitment.

Yes it is, but someone should point out that what you get is not a download, but a Steam key for the game and the DLC. The only game I have on Steam is Skyrim SE, which is the only reason I have a Steam account. No, thanks.

This is the way to get Paradox games. When they do this with HOI4, I'll pick it up. You need patience.

Cheers,

Be warned that HOI4 is the worst of the HOI series. The AI is limp and sane things like an OOB (the chain of command) are nowhere to be seen. They are trying to save it with the expansions - so that conquering the World with Portugal will become harder - but HoI3 upgraded to "Their Finest Hour" + mods is still your better choice.

I tend to not buy games with all these expansions. Just my preference, especially Paradox

Right, that's why I'm still waiting for HOI4. By the time Humble Bundle has an HOI4 bundle it'll hopefully be beyond the "Battleships for Bhutan" stage. Also, I've already played HOI3 (including Finest Hour) about as much as possible.

Cheers,
CB

Eu IV Humble Bundle

I am late to the party, but I thought I should express my thanks to you for letting others know about this terrific bargain. I had not purchased any Europa Universalis IV DLC and this bundle from Humble Bundle (which is a legitimate source, by the way) was just what I was looking for.

For those who held back because of it being in the form of a Steam key, the last I heard Paradox games had to be activated on Steam in order to be played, so why not buy a Steam key?
