You'd be surprised about how many new games look like old ones. I make a guess that great majority of the new games don't match the eye-candy of Crysis. Just look at John Tiller's war games. Except that Tiller series was developed 20+ years ago and they continue to use the same code/engine. So Tiller's new games are practically DLC with cost of a new game? quote:
ORIGINAL: Red2112 Actually the game looks alot like Stardew Valley, or Graveyard Keeper, both sold alot of copies by the way, and there´s alot of people who like retro graphics now days, see mincraft! A lot (with a space) of the people are now playing with a tablet, cheap laptop, or smartphone. On top of that, it has never been easier for small teams (2 by 3) and even lone individuals (John Tiller, Joni Nuutinen) to publish their games. Put the two together, and we have come to the point where tens (if not hundreds) of new games come available every day (many never translated to English language).

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it. MekWars
