Ground Strike: Air to Air combat subphase. The Germans need the stukas through, the French need them shot down so no reason not roll together.

Round 1

Allies - 18 (DXPX) The front stuka is shot down and the Germans lost the pilot
Axis - (AC) Effectively no effect

Round 2

Allies - 18 (DXPX) The front stuka is shot down and the Germans lost the pilot
Axis - 15 (DX) The French fighter is shot down and the pilot survives.

One attack announced 37:10 3:1 I don't know the modifiers. Do the French want to use HQ support?

Japan

One attack against Ankyang 25.2:12 2:1. No aircraft for the Japanese. The Chinese can use their fighter as a bomber - same counter-interception as above. Do the Chinese fly?

Status: offline 		The Germans bring in 5 bombers worth 14 points. Do the French fly? Same as above for aircraft less what flew last time (there is also a 3 factor fighter that can fly if the Potez is a bomber.

Status: offline 		Right in order to move the game along here I'm going to make an executive decision. I see no reason why the Chinese would make it easy for the Japanese nor give up Ankyang (supply source) without a fight - so I am assuming Assault.

Status: offline 		Sadly that brings the end to that. That turn sums up my experience as the Axis player. I don't want to quit this early but that is too much 10 points in the air on a +2/-1 two more 1's on land combat.....

It has been interesting to see how Germany would cope with the very powerful BEF force and the massive CW support in resources.
Also the beating the Chinese Com takes when there is a starting peace treaty between USSR and Japan makes me doubtful about using that option.
