Version 1.06.01 (Bug Fix Version)
Allies: Me
Axis: AI
Game: 1939 Campaign

Situation:
Vichy was not created when France fell in Mid-1940, all French forces removed except for Madagascar and Djibouti.
Subsequently built French Corp in Madagascar.
UK forces stormed across Libya and into North Africa, Algeria and Tunis are still as one entity.

Problem:
Game time is September 1941.
When I captured Algiers, all the following events occurred.
Madagascar accepted the Armistice, All the remaining French Forces Disappeared.
Free French Light Cruiser appears in UK.
Germans walk into Paris, etc etc.
All the events fired as though Vichy had been created.

Side Note:
In the previous version 1.06, I also had a game where No Vichy was created and the game did not have the above problem. I had assumed that there was a small chance of the AI not creating Vichy.

Please look into this.

Interesting comment in Decision Script 602

#NAME= DE 602 - Germany: Create Vichy France? (AI - 100% Yes)

It reads that the AI will have a 100% chance to create Vichy.

Have fun on this one.

I have checked my saved file, and the problem is duplicable.

Based on the two games I mentioned above, DE 602 is not firing, with AI=100%, in September 1940 with Paris being occupied at the conclusion of the Axis turn.

I believe France surrenders as result of Nation Morale being <=0 at that time.
France had a NM 0f 8,000+ before the Axis turn.
There are 3 scripts that will fire affecting France NM.
They are: -5,000 for Occupy Paris, -5,000 for AI Helper for Occupy Paris, -1,000(?) for no UK unit within 3 of Paris for a total of -11,000(?).
Making a total of -3,000 NM, or 0 as it probably the lowest possible value.

In the games, all French Forces in France, North Africa, Syria are gone, Mentioned places are Axis controlled, DE602 is waiting for Allies to occupy Algiers.

Odd as it definitely creates Vichy France now on my end so I wonder what might be amiss. Can you send me your saved turns to support@furysoftware.com so I could take a look?

Anything before and after French surrender would be helpful.

The only other possibility I can think of is perhaps the Hotfix was misapplied? Can you confirm that v1.06.01 displays in the bottom right hand corner of the MAIN MENU screen and that this was indeed from games freshly started under v1.06.01?

I did download and install the Hotfix.

I tried to re-install the Hotfix, it now shows Version 1.06.01
I will start a new game and let you know.

Vichy is now being created.

Again, Sorry for the problems I caused with these post.
If only I checked the version number I would have realized that the hotfix was not applied properly.
