Status: offline 		I can do the invade on T1 but then can't actually take Oslo on T2 so it's a bit of a of a disaster. That's the bit Alvaro did not show in his demo, but went off to get p#ssed

Can't complain though. It would be a bit too ahistorical even for this game.........

Status: offline 		Part of the problem is that not only is the entire system unintuitive, but the failure message is not at all helpful. It really does not tell you why you are unable to invade. If it is because Norway is neutral it should say that. If it is because you don't have enough landing craft, it should directly say that instead.

Status: offline 		I've continued to test : seems that you CANNOT invade in Rain, without any message (!), it works only in Clear weather ...a bit strange ...It's Invasion : No Way

But in the problem case I gave, the weather was clear and not cold...

Thanks ! So is the rule that only Clear can allow invasion, or is (light) Rain allowed as well ?

What I did when invading was to land one division on the west side and airdrop one from Copenhagen to the east side. Between the two they are easily strong enough to take Oslo. In fact, the paradrop by itself might be enough.

Status: offline 		The hex the fleet is in is where the weather is applied if I remember. So many rules.

You can't invade in Clear(cold), Rain(cold), heavy rain, snow, or blizzard.

You can invade in clear and rain. You take more damage invading in rain.

Status: offline 		Still doesn't explain why hex 151,81(which is a beach) still can't be invaded in clear (not cold) weather with a Division, when 10 landing craft are available, as in my example above. This is still the case for the 1.00.7U51 beta too

Status: offline 		I had the same problem using v1.00.06. Clear, no rain or cold in May '40, and had 20 landing craft. I tried to invade with a 10 Inf corps but got the error message (kept exiting the game and reloading turn as I tried different hexes, but nothing worked and sometimes didn't get an error message, just unable to invade. On a whim, I tried to invade with 20 landing craft and a 3 Infantry Division and it worked but used up 10 landing craft. Thought it was supposed to be 1 landing craft could carry 1 strength point of infantry for invasion?

Can you post a screenshot of what I should look at? I fail to understand where is this icon.

Did you change the Mediterranean hexes (zone 2) to semi arid (zone 3)?

Status: offline 		One suggestion to help understand the rules. In the below screenshot, I would color in red the number available per unit if this number is not enough to invade.

Or, perhaps better, put something like 10/30 per unit. Traduction: 10(available)/30(needed) for this unit to invade. Like this you can count for an entire stack how much is needed to invade with all the units in the stack. If you have some but not all capacity in terms of landing ships, you can then pick and choose the best combination of units for your invasion.

Status: offline 		My changes aren't in the current beta. The new beta should be up today or Saturday.

In June there is no cold weather so you won't see frozen snow.

Two remarks:

1. First, in the tooltip, could you please add a space between 30 and Landing in "30Landing Craft Required"?

2. Second, could you please implement the right number? According to the manual, it must be 60 required instead of 30 required. By the way, does this rule apply to Mechanized corps too?

Status: offline 		Yep, I have found in the table page 38 of the 1.00.06 manual that this is both for Armored and Mechanized units. So, perhaps, change the manual at page 35 by:
