The landings at Kota Bharu are still happening the next morning. The Allies are firing back and they scored a hit on one of my transports. I hope it was empty at the time so nobody got hurt.

The second sub I have parked at Bataan got a hit on the ARD Dewey at Bataan as Brian was obviously trying to move from Manila to somewhere else. With a torpedo hole in it's side it's speed is probably half what it ordinarily is. Brian may elect to just leave it at Manila now.

I've got to find out who the captain of the I-126 is and replace him with a better one because he missed with all 4 of his torpedoes. He got a hit on the ARD though so maybe I'll give him another chance after all.

Funafuti is the next hot spot as another of my RO's get's a hit on the AP President Coolidge. This was totally a chance encounter as I had sent the RO to park itself at Canton island and it was heading that way when it found an opertune target to chase.

I decided to spend another day striking Pearl but the weather there has cancelled most of my strike packages but this flight of Zeros got through the weather and did a sweep of the airbase there at Pearl and got some hits but lost one aircraft.

A group of Nates decided to sweep Georgetown and did about as well as I expected. I've got to replace the Nates with Oscars ASAP.

A small group of Nells from Bubbledrop raided Cagayan and this time there was some flak but nobody got hit and there was no CAP this time either. They got a handful of hits but no cigar was awarded for the strike.

One of my strike packages got through the weather to hit the port at Pearl and my losses were light but I didn't sink anything either. The raid wasn't a waste though because I got lots of hits on several of his BB's. Some more damage to fix for Brian.

Some escorted Vals made a strike against the port at Pearl and got a handful of hits on the same BB's as the first strike. The Allied CAP made itself felt this time. And there was lots of flak. I don't think I'll chance a third day of strikes at Pearl.

Some unescorted Sallys hit Alor Star and got a handful of hits but nothing to write home about. I need to get some escorts assigned to these raids and maybe decrease the altitude of the strike to 10K or so.

There was a strike on Hong Kong but again no hits were registered. I'm chalking that up to the severe weather that covered the base. There was no Allied CAP but there was some flak this time.

Twenty five Sallys hit Georgetown unescorted and three Allied Buffalos rose to contest the intrusion but none of my planes were hit which means that the Allied pilots were probably inexperienced. The results of the strike wasn't remarkable but it didn't suck.

Kota Bharu got some love from my boys at Kompong Trach. Escorted this time. The results of the raid were so slight that this raid was largely a waste of aviation gasoline. But it did give some experience to several of my pilots. I inspected the crews of all the planes when I was setting up for turn one and I thought I put the most experienced pilots I had in the planes going in harm's way but I may have missed this bomber group.

A strike by some Lilys escorted by 16 Oscars hit Kuantan and did better than I was expecting. I tend to discount the performance of the Lily as too light for bombing and use it largely as a trainer. As soon as a little more progress is made in Malaya I'll ship the Lilys near Saigon to the home islands and use them as a trainer. Either that or light duty in China.

I sent a flight of Sonias to Kwangchowan just to see what's there since my recon level is so low and I found out that there's nothing there worth striking. I'm going to move the Sonias to a place where I can reach Hong Kong with them.

The Allied defenders at Kota Bharu decided to bombard my valiant troops and didn't get any hits on me but did suffer some counterbattery fire.

Tracker didn't give me a slew of error messages this time, just this one. And look at the alerts for the current turn. There's only two so I'm guessing that there's some problem in the scenario database or something.

According to Tracker there's four bases that have troops that I need to move because there's too many there. They are all in the Marshall Island chain so I'm going to send some AP's there to fix the overage.

Here's the economic chart and the fact that Armament, Vehicles, NavYard, and MerchYard all have zero points so far. I need to look into that and fix the hangup.

Here's a look at the ship production panel and I need to make adjustments to the Navy category. You can see where I have turned off the production of any ships due in 1946. I don't believe the war will last that long so that I'll never get those ships. I'm debating turning off all the 1945 ships as well.

Here's a Tracker chart showing the HI cost for the ships being produced. I'm not sure just how to use this information. Now that I know this what do I do?

Tracker doesn't like my turn 3 data. And I have no idea how to fix the situation. Can I trust the numbers?

The LCU group that I sent to Hong Kong arrived already so I've set them for bombardment and we'll get this show on the road. I'm not in a big hurry, it's not a crisis, but I would like to finish this up in less than a month.

Here's a list of some LCU's that I'll eventually have to withdraw. Or rather, deal with their withdrawl. There's plenty of time yet but I'd like to replace them before they go home.

Here's a list of the bases that are having a spoilage problem. I need to look into this and see if I can't reduce the wasteage.

I've found another small problem with Tracker. I can't get the Global tab to open.

Brian sent me his moves and here's some of the combat replay. A Dutch sub got lucky and got a hit on one of my transports and some of the embarked troops took a hit too. It's close to CRB so I'll just do a pit stop with this ship.

I-124 is operating in the waters near Bataan and he was successful attacking on the surface and put two torpedoes into xAKL Anakan and successfully got away.

Landings have started on the north coast of the PI at Aparri and so far my losses are light. It was unopposed so my boys just wadded ashore and took over the base and airfield. They have already started painting rocks white to line the road to the command post.
